Introduction

The Korea Foreign School (KFS) is a candidate school for the international Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program (PYP) and Middle Years Program (MYP).

Korea Foreign School was established in 2007 and now has 105 students in grades 1 through grade 10.

Affiliations & Accreditations 

Korea Foreign School is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education (SMOE).

Jointly accredited KFS is an affiliated member of the East Asia Regional Council for Overseas Schools (EARCOS), and the Korea Council of Overseas Schools (KORCOS).

Curriculum 

As a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program and the Middle Years Program, KFS offers the IB PYP Curriculum from the Grade 1 to 5, IB MYP Curriculum in Grades 6 to 10.

Co-Curricular Activities

KSF offers a wide variety of Extracurricular Activities. The after-school activities are twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students and parents are able to select different activities for Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The activity programs include sports, language, crafting, intelligence development, and so on.

Facilities

Students transported in KFS school bus are under the authority of and responsibility to the bus driver and/or bus supervisor.
